Couldn't Wait For Home!

Work

I'd just started in my new department and it was close to time to go home at the end of my shift. Unfortunately 15 minutes prior to my shift ending I had the terrible urge to have to go to the bathroom. So not wanting to look like I was ditching my duties (as I am a customer service agent in a call centre) I thought I would just clinch it up and hold it until I finally finished my shift. This is one of those times where the waves of nausea and cramps come and go and the next one you feel may be the "big one". When the time finally came for me to leave I felt as if I may be able to make the drive home and savour the comforts of my own bathroom, however by the time I made it my locker and down the hall I couldn't hold it anymore and took a fast detour to the bathroom! Thankfully there was only one person in a stall 2 down from where I took up my seat and proceeded to go (terribly I might add complete with the sounds and smell to accompany it) and thankfully the toilets have sensors on them so they "auto-flush" when you leave the seat. Well when I finished my business and stood up....instead of it going down, it ALL came back up and started flooding the stall floor I was in!!

I grabbed my belongings and fled the restroom and it was still auto flushing! I walked as quickly as I could to leave the premises. All I can say is I feel really sorry for person still in the stall 2 slots down when I left and even more for the housekeeping staff as I am sure they got the call minutes after from someone or security that reported the mess....thankfully the bathrooms all have a large drain in the middle so I'm sure most of it went there instead....I didn't hang around though to make sure though....downside to this, there are security cameras in the halls and my fear is they are going to be able to figure out who it was that did this hit and run. I don't feel entirely at fault, however as I feel it was the faulty plumbing as I didn't use that much toilet paper and also because of the stupid auto flushers on the toilets!

Guess I will find out tomorrow if anyone approaches me about it....denial is always the best remedy I suppose!! :)
