The Perfect Wedding

Family

I don't know why I had to go, I didn't even want to, but I did. My aunt forced me to go to my cousin's husband's sister's wedding with her. The actual wedding was nice, but when we got to the reception, I wanted to die...

Important info about me, I am a very big clutz! I was wearing an elegant dress with a very high slit in it. When I was getting out of the two door car, my foot got tangled in the seat belt strap (I twisted my ankle pretty badly) and I fell out flat on me back in a gravel parking lot. My dress flipped up over my head! I very nonchalantly got up, and dusted myself off. My aunt, one of my cousins, and sister were all laughing their heads off at me.

We got into the reception hall (me trying to stay low key). About 20 minutes into it, I got up to throw something away. I was limping the whole way there. When I went to go back to the table, my ankle gave out and I fell on my knees doing a face plant into the best-man's ass and sent him flying into a keg of beer! To make matters worse, this all happened in front of the bride's table! And they caught it on film!

My cousin (the one I was in the car with) was so sympathetic to me that he went around telling everyone who didn't see it, what had happened. Needless to say, I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. But my aunt being the social creature that she is just wouldn't hear of it, so I had to stay for another hour. When we finally left, everyone was staring at me, snickering. My family laughed at me the entire way home, reenacting the situation!

To this day, I haven't lived that one down.
