Thumb Tacks?!

my sister and I are completely opposite. She is very shy and I am the rebel.

We were driving from Utah to West Virginia and my sister realized she had forgotten to purchase some tampax pads for the trip. We were passing through a very small town with a little country store, and she needed to stop and get them now.

As we went into the store, of course, the store clerk was a very nice looking young man. With much embarrassment, my sister approached him and asked very quietly "Excuse me, but where are your tampax? The clerk said "what?". She repeated the question, "excuse me, but where are your tampax?". The young clerk looked at her and said very loudly "Did you want the kind you push in with your thumb or use a hammer?" Much surprized my sister said "what" and the clerk said:

" YOU DID SAY THUMB TACKS DIDN'T YOU?!!?"

I laughed so hard I cried and my sister ran out of the store embarrased and needless to say, I purchased the tampax!
