In second grade, I got glasses. I am so far sighted its not even funny, I couldn't see my how many fingers I was holding up if my hand was in front of my face.
One day in 9th grade, I had set my stuff down on my desk and set my glasses on top because they were really dirty and I couldn't see out of them anyways. Some one walked by and they fell onto my seat, so when I sat down...guess what? I sat on my glasses. I didn't have any other pair, so I was stuck being blind for the rest of the day.
