Plaster Period - Thats Embarrassing!!

Well! This is probably the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me! I'm 16 now, but when i was 14 i broke me leg. I had to get a full length cast which went from my toes, pretty much all the way to my hip. I hadn't gotten my period yet, but when i woke up in hospital one morning, there was blood ALL over the cast, and ALL over the bed! I had to use my button to call for a nurse, and a doctor came instead. They had to redo my entire cast because it was covered in blood! It was also really hard to put a pad on, and I had to get help... it was SOOOO embarrassing!

Not to worry I work in the medical profession and that kind of story is nothing unusual. It happens all the time, and can happen to anyone. In fact, you probably had to ware your cast for at least a month anyway right? So everyone knew that it was always going to happen at some stage. Nothing to be embarrassed about :)
