I am a 16 year old male. I did that once, not taking my morning piss to get to school on time. I go to a Catholic H. S. The bathrooms only open at noon for the hour lunch period. By then I hadn't pissed for 13 hours. I was dying. I went to the crowded boy's room and eventually got to the urinal with about 5 guys behind me. I can't pee under pressure. I was dying to go but couldn't. At 3 we got out of school. By then I had 16 hours of pee in my bladder. The ride home took 1/2 an hour. Then I had a 15 min. walk. I could barely walk. Finally I got to the bathroom at home with 17 hours of piss in a very, very swollen bladder. I stood at the toilet. Nothing would come out. I stood there for 15 min. and nothing happened. I freaked out and told my mother. She took me to the ER. They catheterized me. I had nearly 2 liters of urine in me. They said that a very full bladder presses on the urethra (the tube that goes through the penis). It closes up. you can't pee when that happens. The catheter hurt like hell when they took it out. But boy was that a relief.

I had the same problem when i was in my 2nd year at high school. The toilets were only open during break but I never went because there was always other girls smoking in them. I could always make it to the end of the day without too much trouble but this one day, I hadn't gone before I left the house and come the end of the day I was bursting. I told my teacher that if he didn't let me go I would pee myself but he thought I just wanted attention. Eventually I couldn't hold on any longer and I started to dribble into my pants. I think the parents at your school should be getting involved, especially if it is to the point where you are regularly seeing people have accidents. That shouldn't be happening in high school.

My children are much younger, but I have already told them and will continue to tell them that I don't expect them to embarrass themselves in class. If the need is that bad then they have my permission to get up and leave. However I have told them they should go during every break and and behave themselves in class so the teacher won't think they are just going to play in the hall instead of go to the bathroom.

If my child gets in trouble for leaving the class then I will deal with the teacher.
