Period Presentation - Thats Embarrassing!!

This happened when I was junior in high school. In English we had to write a paper on the life of a person 60 or over and you had to present them to the class. I wrote mine on my grandma. Anyway the day we had to turn the paper in you had to be ready to give your presentation to the class but because there were so may in the class not everyone could go in one day. Well that day I had my period and in my first class of the day we went on a field trip and I thought that I had leaked on my jeans. Well when I get back to the school I went straight to the bathroom and sure enough I had leaked on my jeans. I started freaking out about what I was going to do to cover it up so know one knew.(I couldn't leave school because you could only leave if you were sick and they had to call your parents.) Well I decided to put my sweatshirt around my waist to cover it up. By the time I got out of the bathroom I was late for my next class which was study hall and we had to report to a room for announcements and then we could leave and go to the commons. When I got there all my friends looked at me like why are you late but didn't say anything. Well my next class after study hall was English. In English the teacher HAD to call on me to give my presentation. Well if you didn't go when called on you got a docked grade because she thought you weren't prepared. When she called on me I didn't want to go but I knew I had to go. I got up in front of the class and I about died because I figured everyone was staring at me and that they knew I had a period problem. When it was finally over and I got my grade the teacher said it was one of my best presentations so I guess it wasn't that bad.

i'm in grade 7 right now and that happend to me one day but i was wearing a pad and it leaked and i didn't have a sweat shirt so i had to ask to go to the bath room and i changed in to sweats and every1 was like hey why did u change ur pants? and i also left a red stain on my chair and it stayed there for like 3 weeks

yea this happened to me too. several times. im in 10th grade now, and a couple times over hte years ive had my period for big project presentations and im worried that on my way up tot he front of the roompeople will see a dark red stain on my lower butt/crotch. i used to wear pads so wheny ou stand up you feel it like comming out....and yea that felt like leaking and i would be all nervous and worried but now i use tampons so it dosent feel like i am leaking so i dont even worry anymore..lol

I didn't answer i just grabbed it and went to the washroom at the end of the day i realized that it leaked onto her 'WHITE' jacket all the guys kept saying "HAHA! Lauren got her period"

To the writer.
There are ways to deal with a period problem. You may want to try internal protection like tampons or cups. If you leak at all during your cycle, you could consider bringing an extra change of clothes.

I feel sorry for you you could have prevented it though if you saw discharge in you undies the night before or kept a tampon if you have a heavy flow or you could put on your gym shorts if you have any in your locker or take a whole roll of tolite paper and waded it up in your undies ...it might not be comfortable but that way if you had to pee you could go in your pants or every day wear like 5 pads on top of eachother

in my school we can leave if we got our period if our parents are willing to pick us up.. you could have just layed in the nurses for a little while and came back to english and say you dont feel good so you wouldnt have had to present

Today in swimming class, the teacher asked me why I was not swimming. Previously, the swimming instructors had not asked that before, and had assumed that we had our periods. However, this time it was a different teacher. I was the first one that she asked. She asked me why I was not swimming, and I had to say "Uh... because I have my period" in front of the whole class, with 3 female instructors, and 1 cute instructor looking at me!

I had my period in 7th grade.... I had worn these bright yellow pants with the shirt to match my pants. Then I asked my teacher to let me go to the bathroom because I had to pee real badly, next thing I knew there was a huge blood stain on my new pants!!!!!!! so scared that everyone was going to laugh at me.
