The most horrific thing happened to me when I was 18. My then-boyfriend (who is now my husband) and I had only been sexually active for a few months. I still lived at home with my parents, in the back bedroom. It was challenging with a house full of people, but my dear boyfriend and I were getting into the freakier stuff, like oils, flavoured lube, and things like that. Well, one evening my then-boyfriend found my brother's handcuffs out on the kitchen table. He picked them up; we looked at each other, and smiled. That night, at my boyfriend's request, I donned my old prom dress (which I like to call the "Peach Nightmare"), and he lovingly handcuffed me to the bed post. We started to get busy, and sure enough....my mom barged right into the room to tell me about the funny thing she saw on Channel 5....like I cared! She said, "Oh, please turn it to 5, you gotta see this!" (It was some totally stupid Saturday Night Live skit.) My then-boyfriend was lying next to me, barely covered, and there I was, trapped, with my arms up over my head. He placed a pillow over my arms to try and cover them. My mom kind of looked at me funny, and I truly believe she noticed I was in bed with the prom dress on. I begged, "Please, Mom, could you go out?"

Acting angry at my sudden attitude, she left, slamming the door behind her. I was numb, I was so horrified. My boyfriend and I got married a year later. We've been married almost 7 years now, and my mom has never confronted me about catching me handcuffed to my bed with my prom dress on, lol. So, I still don't know what she really saw. Oh yeah, we moved out as soon as we got married, too, lol. That was one of the most horrific moments of my life, though.
