My best friend in high school (who is still my close friend now, some 10 years later) was a wild child. I was the more straight-laced, cautious one. We were complete opposites, but somehow our weird friendship worked. One day, in Creative Writing (a class that she and I shared), we were to do an assignment in the library. Of course, my friend and I took a spot in the back of the library, on the floor, between to of the big bookcases. There was about a foot of empty space under the shelves, so everyone could hear our explicit talk about "dicks". There was a popular kid and his friends sitting on the other side of the bookcases, across from us, really not paying us any mind.

A devilish grin crawled across my friend's face, and she farted SO loud!! It vibrated off of the floor, causing an almost echoey effect. She cracked up laughing, "Oh my G**, Lori!!!!!!" The popular kid made the effort to come over and peek around the corner at us. "That was you, Lori??? That was sick!!!" I was so angry at her, and I was screaming, "No, it wasn't me, Tim, I swear! Candi did it! It was NOT me!" He was laughing, and said, "Yeah, right, try to blame it on your friend." Meanwhile, my friend cackled behind me...her evil plan had worked. I was the innocent victim, taking the blame for her thunderous fart.

I was so humiliated!

OK actually this is how the story went. I had to fart so bad and then I let out a medium one. Then I said "Oh my God". (about myself not Lori because I was so embarrassed.) Since the guys were closer to Lori than me they thought Lori did it to my suprise. She got all freaked out and started saying that it was me. I didn't say anything because I was too distracted smelling my fart...for some reason. (It really didn't smell that bad.) And just to tell you Lori, we aren't friends anymore. Remember the ketchup incident?!? I'm still gonna get you back for that!!!
