I used to date this guy that rented a room in a house. After hanging out in his "room" for a while we decided that we were going to go hang out by my house, since neither of us drove he called a cab to get us. He spotted the cab then told me to go on out and get in as the cabbie helped him bring something out to the car. Like a lot of women, I wanted him to watch me walk as I walked away down the outside stairs. I was feeling pretty confident I could walk the walk in my new jeans and really nice (and high) new shoe boots. At first each step was taken with precision then I got too cocky. The toe of my boot hit the next step and i fell face forward down 3 stairs and somehow managed to land on one knee. I immediately jumped up and checked my clothes for tears...I hoped no one saw. A minute later the cabbie comes outside laughing. I asked him what was so funny but all he said was nothing and smirked. My boyfriend came outside with a little smirk as well. I shrugged it off then got in the cab. As we were pulling off I glanced at the house and remembered that at the window by the front door there is a great view of the font steps. I said you both saw me fall didn't you...I never got a response.
