Dinner Mixup - Thats Embarrassing!!

I was in the 8th grade, and my aunt and uncle were living with us at the time. My aunt had this thing about my siblings and I eating too much, and how nobody, not even the school lunch system, could fix meals as nutricious as she could.

While my friends would be eating decent school lunches, I would pull out a meesley sandwhich and an apple, and that was it. It was embarrassing enough to have my friends feel sorry for me and offer me some of their food because I was always still hungry.

Anyway, I complained to my aunt that she wasnt putting enough in my lunches. She said, "For your information, I fix the same stuff for your uncle and you never hear HIM complain!" One morning I grabbed the wrong lunch bag by mistake. It felt heavier than usual.


I got to school, looked inside and thought, "wow! 2 sandwiches, a banana, and even some cookies! Maybe my aunt finally got the message!" Wrong! Instead of just letting the little lunch mixup go, my mom and aunt march down to the school. So there I was,
in my typing class, when the school secretary comes over the intercom for the whole class to hear, "Mister Jones, Would you please send Tom M. down to the office, WITH HIS LUNCH!"

The whole class started laughing, even the teacher. On my way out the door, the teacher asks, "Dang, boy! Whats wrong with your lunch??!!??"

Talk about humiliating! It was so stupid! Ive hated my aunt for years because of that.
