Say it a bit LOUDER why dont you?! - Thats Embarrassing!!

One time when I was 12 years old, I got really sick at Camp Easter in the Pines. It's a camp for the physically challenged like myself.

A male counselor whom I had a BIG crush on named Allan, had to drive me to the doctors. So, in a little while, this BIG, TALL, nurse comes out to the waiting room to get me.
Would you please help me take off my t-shirt?" I asked, after she closed the door

"OH! YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR T-SHIRT!!" she screamed. I nodded my head yes.

"And my bra too, please," I said, very politely.

"OH!! YOU NEED SOME HELP WITH YOUR BRA!!" she screamed even LOUDER. I felt the blood turn my face RED!! At that moment, I wanted to just crawl into a HOLE AND DIE!!

After the doctor examined me, the nurse pushed me back to the waiting room. She gave Allan a perscription for some meds and told him I had strep throat.

On the way to the car I could still feel my face burning with embarrassment. I noticed Allan's face was red, too.

"Don't worry, Barb. I guess she just thought you were deaf!"
