Just doing my job... - Thats Embarrassing!!

I was responsible for ordering and taking care of all of the indoor plants at the local Fred Meyer Department store. Every day Id water the plants. I sometimes wondered why, when I went to water some particular plants, the excess water draining out of them would be dark green, like kool-aid. I didnt pay this much mind, but I later found out why the water was dark green....

There I was, watering the plants when the manager happened to walk up the aisle that morning. He stopped dead in his tracks and gasped, "OMG! What are you DOING??!!??" Which of course made me jump. I said, "huh? What? Im just watering the plants like I always do every morning..." Thats when he said, "But youre not supposed to water THOSE! Those arent real!!!" It was then that I discovered I had been watering fake plants for over two weeks straight, and that dark green colored water was actually the dye running off of them! Was I ever embarrassed! The next morning I showed up to work, only to find out that I was no longer assigned to the indoor garden shop. Hmmm.... cant imagine why.... I made QUITE the name for myself while working there!

As embarrassing as this, and a few other incidents were, I still have fond memories of working there. Those were great times.
