Close to the end of my senior year (1978), I was really getting anxious about graduating and finally starting my adult life. Living and growing up in a small town in Georgia most people knew each other. In my senior class we had all pretty much grown up together and attended all twelve years of school together.
Well, I had an ongoing passion for a girl named Judy Arwood. I'd secretly liked Judy since the fifth grade. She was homely and a little over weight but had a great personality. I was wild about Judy but could never let any of my friends know about my passion for Judy since I would have been the laughing stock of the class if I ever let my secret out since she was not popular at all and I was a jock. One day after Golf practice I happened to run into Judy in the Gym where she would help clean up after school to earn extra money. I followed Judy into the bathroom that she was cleaning and without speaking a word I embraced her and started kissing her. Well Judy must have felt the same for me since she did not fight me off in any way but countered every move and in fact she assisted me by unbuttoning her pants and starting to slide them off while I was tugging at them. Things got pretty heated and we were having sex in the middle of the floor of the gym bathroom when all of the suden the door flew open and Mrs. Borders the English teacher who was also the cheerleader coach was standing right there looking at us. We both jumped up and got dressed. As we were dressing almost all of the cheerleaders and some of the baseball team arrived and took in the view. I was humiliated. Mrs. Borders was attempting to restrain me, but I ran out as soon as I was dressed to my car and sped home.
My next two months of high school were basically in seclusion. I graduated and tried to put the whole ordeal behind me. Six years later I saw Judy again. This time we talked and eventually started dating. After three years of dating Judy and I married and now we have four kids. We now laugh about that day, but back then that was the most embarrassing day in my life.
