Forgotten Something?! - Thats Embarrassing!!

I was preparing for a date with my gf (we'd been going out for a while) and I was just getting out of the shower. I looked at the time and realized I had about five minutes before she got here (her parents were driving because mine were out). Vastly underprepared, I quickly threw a short-sleeved collar shirt and my boxers on. It was hot out, so I got out a pair of shorts, too.

Time ticking away, I combed my still wet hair and quickly got my socks and shoes on just as the doorbell rang. I ran down to the door and opened it to see her in a nice black blouse and skirt. She was going to say something about being a bit late when she covered her mouth and laughed, saying "Did you forget something?"

Oh @*(&(&!, I'd forgotten to actually put on the shorts. But since I had the boxers on, I thought I had the shorts on. Cursing the whole way, I ran up and put them on. Unfortuantely, her gift of gab ensured the whole school knew come Monday.

Yea, it's embarassing. Something like this happened to me once, except I sometimes wear these plaid shorts of mine and when I forgot my shorts I had plaid boxers on so she thought they were shorts and thought nothing of it. Of course, I finally noticed when we got to the restaurant :-|.

Very awkward explaining it to her parents why I wasn't wearing pants at the Outback Steakhouse with their daughter (her parents drove me too).

Something sorta like this happened to me. I was getting out of the shower and the doorbell rang and my date was there, so I put on a towel and said come in and I'd be ready in a minute. When she stepped in my room mate came up behind me and pulled my towel off! This was going to be our first date, and luckily we've been married for 15 years now. When our kids ask us about when we met, we always leave out the part that I wasn't wearing pants.

Something like this happened to me once, except my parents had aready driven us to the restaurant we were going to by the time I noticed, and they were going to a different restaurant, so they couldn't drive me home to get pants! My GF bought me a pair of shorts in a nearby store -- ofcourse, she bought me shortest shorts I've ever seen -- my boxer-briefs went out past the bottom of the leg. It looked like I was Richard Simmons. I got some wierd stares from people that night.

that's not really embarrasing because boxers are like short in fact theres very little differance on them.
most guys i know don't even wear underwear under thier shorts.
